"In one way or another, we must help national unity. We need national unity," said Manuel Valls. "I do not believe in a government with everyone. National unity is a state of mind. It is not a device agreement, much less a casting," he said. , while some, like Jean-Pierre Chevènement, call for a republican government of public safety.

"It would be indecent today to say that it would be a casting problem"

"We must seize this terrible opportunity to be reconciled around a common reconstruction project", explains Manuel Valls, and "in this historic moment, the president must indicate the paths of reconstruction for unity", continues the former Prime Minister.

Will this union be made with him? "It would be indecent today to say that it would be a casting problem," replies the current Barcelona city councilor and former candidate for the left primaries. "I don't know (...) My participation or not has no importance". "It's a detail," he concludes.
