The mild winter caused the interest in holiday homes to wake up unusually early. Then came the corona. Figures from Statistics Sweden show that the price of holiday homes fell by six percent in the first quarter of this year, compared with the previous quarter. But after a few weeks of waiting, the interest from buyers is now greater than in several years, according to the brokers in Roslagen with whom SVT has been in contact.

- We sell holiday homes in the low and mid-price class like never before, says Lasse Tapper at the Real Estate Agency in Norrtälje.

At the same time as the craving for summer houses is great, there is a sense of doubt among the sellers.

- I think we will see a greater supply during late summer and autumn. The season is postponed by a few months, says Lars Karlsson at Swedish Real Estate Agency in Norrtälje.
