Earthquake shocks in the Phlegrean area, no damage

The Phlegrean area, in the province of Naples, known to be an area of ​​medium seismic activity, has been at the center since the dawn of this morning of a seismic swarm that started at 4.16, which lasted until 7.23 with 22 recorded events. Three earthquakes were felt by a large part of the population caught in their sleep: the first, at 4.16, of magnitude 2.0, the second, at 4.41, of magnitude 2.5 and the third the most intense, at 4.59, of magnitude 3.1. This latter event, albeit mild but among the highest recorded in the last six months, was also felt in the western area of ​​Naples, in the Agnano, Pisciarelli area and throughout the Pozzuoli area, especially in the Solfatara area up to Quarto , led many people to the street in fear. However, the situation has returned to calm, there is no damage to people and things. The municipal civil protection is engaged in checks and inspections.
