According to SR, 2,500 different meetings and negotiations at district courts, court courts, administrative courts and chamber courts have been set up to reduce, among other things, the spread of infection. According to reports, cities like Skellefteå and Norrköping are hit hard with more than 40 per cent set targets.

- It is not a picture I recognize that would be so much, and I feel that we are working full time, comments Marie Wennberg, a court clerk in Skellefteå.

According to her, Skellefteå currently has many arrests and more disputes where parties agreed before negotiation, which may be reflected in the statistics from the Court.

But she notes that it is a very special situation that has many consequences.

- For example, many people do not want to come to a negotiation under prevailing circumstances and when people attend by telephone or video it becomes more complicated and takes more time.
