Lavrov said that he raised this topic during a recent telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

In this regard, he proposed the United States to create a mechanism, "which will be authorized by the presidents to consider any issues of concern to one side or another."
According to Lavrov, these proposals "remain on the table."
