April 25, 2020 On the Government website, in the FAQ, the questions and answers on what can and cannot be done in the light of the anti-Covid-19 Dcm, a clarification has been included for those who live at sea.

On the page "#IoRestoaCasa Decree, frequently asked questions about the measures taken by the Government"the following question is read in the paragraph dedicated to travel.

"I live in a mountain / hill place or in a sea / lake / river place, am I allowed to take a walk in the mountains / hills or by the sea / lake / river?"

This is the answer: "Yes. It is always possible to carry out physical activity in the vicinity of your main home, or in any case the one where you have been staying since 22 March 2020, with the consequence that is allowed, for those who live in mountain areas , hills, lakes, rivers or seas - and as long as it is not a subject for which absolute mobility is prohibited as it is subject to quarantine or is positive for the virus - carry out this activity in these places (including doing the swimming at the sea / river / lake) as long as they are individually and in any case respecting the distance of at least one meter from each other person. This is because the aforementioned are not places closed to the public, as parks and green areas are currently urban, and also the bathing establishments, where the ban on entry and circulation

remains . It remains understood that it must be exclusively activities carried out without having to move away from your home and without making it necessary to use public or private means of transport, or significant travel.

However, different and more stringent prohibitions imposed on a local basis are justified because they are justified by specific territorial situations. The existence of the conditions in question (physical activity carried out near one's home) may be justified with self-certification, if the agents who carry out the checks require it ".
