Police were alerted to the home about an hour after the assault had taken place. Reportedly, two perpetrators have forced themselves into the couple's home. They have detained the man and the woman while the home was searched. What the perpetrators got with them and how they left the place is currently unclear.
"This is an aging crime and we take it very seriously," said police spokesman Rickard Lundqvist.
Neither of the two elders sustained physical injuries in connection with the incident.
No person is arrested.
