The gendarmes intervened on Saturday morning "at the request of a family member", who "had been worried about the man's behavior for the past few days", Cambrai prosecutor Rémi Schwartz explained to AFP, confirming information from France Bleu and La Voix du Nord . The victim, 32, had died several days ago, according to the first findings of the medical examiner, and the evidence gathered "suggests that this is a homicide," said the prosecutor, without giving further details.
