The motorized peloton of Bourg-Achard (Eure) discovered 42 motorcycles and scooters stolen inside a heavy vehicle in Tancarville (Seine-Maritime), Friday April 17. Party of Dreux (Eure-et-Loir), the truck had to rally in Le Havre, according to information from Actu.fr .

The devices, all stolen in Ile-de-France, were to "reach the African continent", according to the police interviewed by the local news site.

Fleas on some gear

To get hold of the stolen goods, the total amount is estimated at several thousand euros, investigators placed chips on some vehicles, understands Actu.fr . They then installed them on streets where thefts had already been committed.

An investigation was opened to try to find the perpetrators of the traffic. The truck driver and the transport company have not been implicated for the time being.
