A stabbed or severely injured man was found outdoors at Järnvägsgatan in Alvesta during Friday afternoon. After a telephone alarm, police and ambulance were called to the scene.
The course of events is still unclear, according to the Police, but they are looking for an offender.
- As time goes on, the opportunity to find someone in the immediate area diminishes. Nobody has been arrested at this time, says Rickard Lundqvist, press spokesman at the Police.
The injured man is taken to hospital. On the police website, the incident is classified as serious abuse, but whether it will be a criminal offense in the end is not clear.
