"Messages passed to the faithful"

"We have worked with those responsible for the Muslim faith, in particular the CFCM or the rector of the Grand Mosque of Paris. Messages have been sent to the faithful to remind them of these conditions."

No reopening of places of worship on May 11

The Muslim authorities have decided to close the mosques for the Ramadan period. "We know that it is an important sacrifice that is required but it is important for the respect of the health security of our fellow citizens and I believe that it was perfectly understood as such". "It is also true of other religions that offices are no longer held in churches or synagogues," he adds.
