“Specialists of the 264th military mission of the Ministry of Defense of Russia at the Kazan Aviation Plant named after S.P. Gorbunova (a branch of PJSC Tupolev included in PJSC UAC of Rostec Group of Companies), two strategic missile carriers Tu-160 Ivan Yarygin and Vasily Reshetnikov were accepted, the department said.
It is noted that on airplanes, "inertial navigation and engine control systems, as well as weapons devices using modern digital technologies, were modernized."
In early February, the deeply modernized Tu-160M bomber made its first test flight.
