The treatment or drink, dubbed "organic covid", is derived from "wormwood", a plant proven to be effective in treating malaria, along with a group of other herbs, according to the Madagascar Institute of Applied Research.
According to "Agence France Presse", the safety and effectiveness of this treatment have not been evaluated internationally, and no data has been published from the trials conducted before its development.
