According to him, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko made an “absolutely right decision” to double the amount of buckwheat sown area. 

Bogdanov said that this would allow Belarus to provide the domestic market with 20 thousand tons of buckwheat in 2020.

“The order to increase domestic production will allow us to fully provide ourselves with buckwheat and even export a little to the markets of other countries,” he said.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported that Russia did not limit the supply of buckwheat and buckwheat to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, including Belarus.
