After pressure on social media, the Saudi authorities handed over the body of the Saudi activist Abdul Rahim Al Hwaiti to his relatives, and allowed him to be buried in his village, after they had previously refused.

Amid tight security measures, the relatives of Al-Howeiti received his body, and the handover was attended by a large number of the dead family and the people of its ruined village in Batuk region, northwest of the Kingdom.

Al-Huwaiti's killing came after he published a video in which he refused to displace his tribe in favor of the project, which is considered one of the most prominent projects of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman within the framework of his vision 2030.

Shadi Abu Taqeeh, Abdul Rahim's brother, had said that Tabuk region police had set conditions for receiving his brother's body.

Abu Taqeeh explained in a previous tweet via his Twitter account that the police stipulated that Abdul Rahim not be buried in his desolate village, that the burial be in Tabuk, and that the funeral be attended to a limited number of people.

He added that they did not agree to these conditions because his mother and all his brothers wanted to be buried in Khuraibeh alongside his father.

# Where_ the body of Abd al-Rahim_ Al-Huwaity With
our review today of the Tabuk Police, conditions have been set for receiving the body:
- He will not be buried in ruins and burial will be in Tabuk
- The attendance of the funeral will be limited to a limited number of people, and
this is what we did not agree with on the desire of his mother and all his brothers to be buried in ruins alongside his father, may God have mercy on him,
God is great and glory Allah

It has spread on Twitter pages after the Saudi State Security Agency announced the death of Al-Hwaiti on the 15th of this month in the village of Al-Khriba, Tabuk Governorate, and he said that he is wanted by the security authorities, while Saudi accounts have reported the death of Al-Hwaiti since April 13 because he refused to evacuate his house and village in favor of Building facilities belonging to the "NEOM" project.
