His Highness continued the implementation stages in the field hospital, which extends over an area of ​​29 thousand square meters, and the construction is scheduled to be completed by the first week of May next, when a medical team consisting of 200 people will work in it, with a capacity of 1200 patients.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also visited the field hospital at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center «ADNEC», which has a capacity of 1000 patients, and is managed by a medical staff of 150 people, and covers an area of ​​31 thousand square meters.

The field hospital that was built in "Dubai Parks and Resorts" is being prepared on an area of ​​29 thousand square meters, to start its activities at the end of this April, and it will be operated by a medical staff of 200 people, and can accommodate 1200 patients.

Preparing hospitals to allocate additional medical facilities equipped and equipped to deal with new cases of coronavirus infection, in a way that supports the health sector capabilities, increases its absorptive capacity and its readiness in facing the current challenges, and enhances the state's capabilities to provide care and treatment services in accordance with the best medical standards and the highest quality.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Head of the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, stressed that the challenges can be overcome with the spirit of cooperation and joint work, especially since the past period has demonstrated the support of the health sector in the state from various sides, to enable it to play its role in maintaining the health and safety of individuals Community, proudly participate in the first line of defense to tackle the emerging corona virus.
