Dubai Police confirmed that Sheikh Zayed Road is open up to the borders of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Sharjah to cross members of the public within the external streets that did not implement a mechanism to control violators of restricting movement using radar devices.

Security personnel inquired to an audience about whether the procedure for allowing transit is limited to the borders of Sheikh Zayed Road only to the commercial center roundabout, or includes its extension through Al-Ittihad Street to the borders of the Emirate of Sharjah, indicating that the radars operate normally and monitor them while crossing from Sharjah to Abu Dhabi via this Alsa, which raises their fears of recording violations against them during transit.

One of them said that the radar on the airport road photographed him while crossing, although he uses this road to pass from Sharjah to Abu Dhabi because it later extends to Sheikh Zayed Road.

The Director of the Dubai Police Traffic Department, Brigadier Saif Muheir Al Mazrouei, explained that radar devices are already working but do not violate transit vehicles, as violations are limited to those wandering in the emirate, given that the Dubai police depend on the application of this system on artificial intelligence that can analyze the vehicle's itinerary Whether its holders of permits or one of those crossing through Dubai coming or returning from Abu Dhabi, because its itinerary will be clear while crossing it.

He called on members of the public to be assured of all precautionary measures to ensure their safety, stressing the need to adhere to the instructions to facilitate sterilization operations, which have been going well since the application of the restriction of movement around the clock in accordance with the national sterilization program.

The total violations committed by the Dubai Police since the implementation of the decision to restrict the movement of vehicles and pedestrians within the national sterilization program exceeded 2527 violations, by 2,076 warning violations, and 8 criminal violations for people who left the house without necessity or necessity or for reasons other than work or purchasing basic needs, according to the decision Issued by the Dubai government regarding restriction of movement, excluded groups and cases allowed to exit.
