The World Health Organization said that some countries ’easing of internal restrictions does not mean the end of the pandemic outbreak in those countries, while Saudi Arabia announced the suspension of prayers in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan to stop the spread of the Corona virus.

"The worst in the spread of Covid-19 virus is still coming," WHO Director Tidros Adhanom Gebresos said at a press conference, stressing that the end of the epidemic requires concerted efforts from every country, individuals, societies and governments to control the spread of the deadly virus.

For her part, German Chancellor Angela Merkel criticized what she described as an exaggeration in the call to reopen the country because of the Corona virus, and expressed concern about a possible relaxation in respecting the restrictions.

Meanwhile, the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted its 193 members calling for "fair access" to the "future vaccines" of the emerging Corona epidemic.

The resolution underscored the "critical leadership role of the World Health Organization", which recently faced an unprecedented attack from the United States.

Ease of restrictions
Several European countries are moving towards easing the restrictions they have imposed to contain the Coronavirus, and with some recording fewer deaths in the past few days, limited sectors are returning to work.

And some European countries started lifting the isolation measures taken to confront the outbreak of the Corona virus, as several stores in Germany opened their doors today, Monday, as part of the first stage of a long process to exit the country from isolation.

Last Tuesday, Austria allowed the reopening of small shops and public parks, and Norway began reopening nurseries and primary schools, in a first step of a slow and gradual process of lifting restrictions, while France and Britain appear more cautious in taking similar steps now.

France, Spain and Italy, which are reporting a decline in the number of injuries and deaths after weeks of increase, are also preparing for measures to lift the isolation in the coming days or weeks.

In Turkey, the Ministry of the Interior announced a four-day curfew, beginning Thursday in 31 states, as part of efforts to curb the spread of the Corona pandemic.

Less deaths in America and
in the United States, Johns Hopkins University announced on Monday recorded 1433 deaths from the Corona virus during the past twenty-four hours, recording a decrease from Sunday's toll.

Meanwhile, demonstrations took place in Pennsylvania to denounce the government shutdown after the outbreak of the Coruna virus in the state, and called on demonstrators to reopen the state and end the measures taken by the authorities.

A Reuters count showed that the number of corona virus deaths in the United States exceeded 42,000 on Monday, and that the number of confirmed cases of the virus was more than 774,000. 

The suspension of prayers
in the Two Holy Places The Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs in Saudi Arabia announced the continuation of the suspension of the five daily prayers and Tarawih prayers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina during the holy month of Ramadan to stop the spread of the Corona virus.

"The continued suspension of the worshipers' attendance at the five prayers and Taraweeh prayers in the blessed month of Ramadan to preserve the health of the intentioners according to the recommendations followed by the competent authorities," the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs said on Twitter, quoting the General President of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Ministry of Health said that it had registered 1122 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 10,484, and the ministry added that it had registered six new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 103.

Arably
, the Qatar Ministry of Health announced the registration of 567 new injuries, bringing the total number of injuries to 6015, as well as one death, bringing the total death to nine.

In Morocco, 135 new infections were announced, raising the total number to 2990, and two new girls were registered.

For its part, the Omani Ministry of Health announced the registration of 144 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 1410.

Eighty new cases were registered in Kuwait, bringing the total to 1995, and two deaths were announced.

The Ministry of Health in Lebanon announced the registration of four new infections, bringing the total to 677, while the number of deaths reached 21.

In turn, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the registration of ten new infections with the Coruna virus, bringing the total number to 449 and the number of deaths to three.

In Sudan, the Ministry of Health registered 15 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number to 107 throughout the country.  

For its part, the Egyptian authorities announced the launch of 22 exceptional trips to return their citizens stranded abroad due to the spread of Corona virus.
