“On April 17, following a meeting of the government commission to increase the sustainability of the development of the Russian economy, a list of system-forming organizations was approved ... These sectors will be supplemented by new enterprises that will meet established criteria,” the press service said.

The list includes, inter alia, organizations of the aviation and automobile industries, energy, railway and shipbuilding, chemical, electronic and light industries.

It is expected that this week a list of backbone organizations will be approved in 11 more areas, including pharmaceuticals, medicine, metallurgy, agricultural and specialized engineering, construction materials, wholesale and retail trade and furniture industry.

Earlier it was supposed to approve the final list of systemically important Russian enterprises on April 10.
