Secretary of State for Transport Jean-Baptise Djebbari returns to the images of crowded Air France planes, without any respect for social distancing measures, broadcast this weekend.

INTERVIEW

This weekend, a report from France 2 challenged. A Paris-Marseille journey was crowded, no measure of social distancing and the passengers had no masks. The images were confirmed to Europe 1 by Air France flight personnel on condition of anonymity. Jean-Baptise Djebbari, Secretary of State for Transport, recalls that the vast majority of flights are currently sparse. Twenty flights a day

"That said, I saw the images and I asked the company Air France to put in place the necessary measures so that this situation does not happen again". The company should speak on Monday on the subject. He recalls that only twenty flights take place per day, instead of the thousand daily in a usual context. "We cannot make a general picture," says Jean-Baptiste Djebbari.

"The planes are cleaned before each flight," said the secretary of state, however. "The air on board is regularly renewed every three minutes with filters, the same that we use in operating theaters. Airplanes are health-controlled environments"
