Indeed, "it becomes urgent to coordinate our initiatives and to carry them collectively when possible", plead these 17 mayors among whom Christian Métairie (EELV, Arcueil), Laurent Cathala (PS, Créteil), Jean-Philippe Gautrais (FG , Fontenay-sous-Bois), Patrick Jarry (DVG, Nanterre), Patrick Haddad (PS, Sarcelles) or Jean-Claude Kennedy (PCF, Vitry-sur-Seine).

This coordination intends to "present to the government a White Paper in the coming weeks" which "will identify our local good practices to fight the epidemic and to prepare the post-Covid society", add the signatories, who call "all left mayors of Ile-de-France to join them ". "We can collectively succeed in the deconfinement of May 11 if the state accompanies us," they say.
