Teachers identified 10 benefits that a distance learning system can achieve for a student, while they agree that the most prominent disadvantages of this system are the lack of direct communication and interaction between the teacher and the student.

In detail, the teacher, Heba Abdulaziz, stated that “distance learning is the beginning of a new era of sustainable, highly flexible and rapid digital education with positive results, and is a flexible and smart combination of simultaneous education.”

She added that distance learning is a modern and advanced system, in line with the era of speed, and helps to meet the challenges of schools in increasing the percentage of student absenteeism and dropout, and contributes to reducing waste of resources, and provides a system of accurate monitoring of the level of student progress.

Distance learning also develops students ’skills in independent learning and self-learning, and gives them personal skills, especially in assuming responsibility for their learning, and develops communication skills, facilitates the process of communication with all those involved in student learning, and provides excellent follow-up to the level of student progress.

And she considered that distance learning is the era of information and technology explosion, and a wonderful opportunity to create a sophisticated educational system that is in line with the accelerating progress in the world, in addition to looking forward to the future in the era of the digital age in order to address crises with digital intelligence and high-speed technological measures.
