Sassoli also added that he will take part in a meeting of heads of state and government of the EU in a videoconference on April 23.
Earlier, the European Commission (EC) recommended that member countries of the European Union extend the restrictions on travel of citizens within the Schengen area until May 15 against the backdrop of the pandemic of the coronavirus infection COVID-19.
