Bangladesh Ministry of Health warns of new national epidemic outbreak risks of national spread

  Xinhua News Agency, Dhaka, April 16 (Reporter Liu Chuntao) The Bangladesh Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued an announcement on the evening of the 16th that the country is facing the risk of a "pandemic" nationwide in the new crown epidemic.

  The announcement said that 43 of the 64 counties in Bangladesh reported confirmed cases of the new crown, and 28 counties have been blocked. The announcement reiterated that, except for emergencies, residents across the country are not allowed to go out from 6:00 every night to 6:00 the next morning.

  Bangladesh's health department said on the same day that as of 8:00 on the 16th, the country had added 341 newly diagnosed cases in the past 24 hours, with a total of 1572 confirmed diagnoses; 10 new death cases and a total of 60 deaths.

  Bangladesh Prime Minister Hasina said on the 16th that he will continue to distribute 5 million material distribution cards to families in need, and step up efforts to combat corruption during the epidemic to ensure the smooth distribution of materials.
