Muzna Suleiman Al-Kaabi, a student in the 11th grade, advanced at Al-Shifa Bint Abdullah School, created a military uniform, the color of which changes automatically according to the color of the surrounding environment, in order to protect the wearers of the suit from monitoring, and called innovation “the army chameleon”.

The student told «Emirates Today» that «members of the armed forces, of all ranks, are the guardians and protectors of the country, so we have to support them, by providing what guarantees their safety to the fullest extent while performing their work».

She explained that the military uniform is embedded with small screens, characterized by being flexible and unbreakable, as well as a power generator, in addition to a color sensor, which determines the prevailing color in the environment surrounding the soldier, then gives an automatic signal to the screens and a power generator, which in turn undertakes to change the color of the uniform automatically to a color The surrounding environment.

Al-Kaabi added that the used parts are inexpensive and readily available, noting that she received significant support from the school administration during the implementation of the project, as the school provided her with all the necessary materials to complete her project.

She indicated that she participated in the last academic year’s copy of the National Festival of Science, Technology and Innovation, and was not successful in achieving good results with the project that she participated in, so she decided to search for a new idea to complete an innovative and different project, and since then, she started the research process, until I reached the "chameleon of the army", in which I participated in the festival version for the current academic year, which was organized by the Ministry of Education last February to receive the Dubai Arena.
