“This soldier became ill, was hospitalized with pneumonia. The coronavirus analysis taken from him showed a positive result - literally an hour ago we received such information, ”Gavrusik said.
The serviceman is in a military hospital in Minsk.
She also stated that members of the hospitalized unit were isolated.
“The situation is under control, although this is indeed our first such case,” she said.
