the 253 regional districts nationwide, the Democratic Party won 163, and in the proportional representation, the Citizens' Party won 17 seats, bringing the two together to a total of 180 seats.

The 21st general election ended with the victory of the ruling party.

The Democratic Party and The Citizen, the two parties in one body, the '180 seats' of the Democratic Party was the only majority in 16 years since the 17th general election in 2004. It is the most seated.

The Democratic Party, which was born in 1990 as the so-called 'three party worthy party', was a large ruling party with 217 seats, but it was not made by voters.

The United Party only had 103 seats in the district and 84 in the future, with 19 in the proportional representation.

The first opposition party, the United Party, suffered a crushing defeat that barely crossed the constitutional line, but in the future, it took on a tough role to contain the super ruling party.

The Justice Party had only 1 seat in the regional district and 5 seats in proportional representation, and the National Assembly and the Open Democratic Party took 3 seats in proportional representation.

The Democratic Party won four consecutive victories until the general election in 2016, following the 20th general election, the 2017 presidential election, and the 2018 local election.

The Democratic Party gained strong parliamentary leadership, and in addition to taking the position of the 21st National Assembly, it was virtually possible to handle all bills except for the 'Exclusive Constitution'.

Regarding the results of the April 15 elections, President Moon Jae-in said, "I feel a great responsibility before the joy of the great people's choice."
