Yesterday, the Omani Ministry of Health announced the registration of 109 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total cases of the virus in the Sultanate to 1019 cases.

And in Kuwait, the Ministry of Health announced yesterday that it had recorded 119 confirmed cases of the new corona virus during the past 24 hours.

In details, the Omani Ministry of Health, in a press statement, said on its website yesterday that the injuries included 12 cases of Omanis, and 97 cases of non-Omanis.

She pointed out that 45 cases were recovering, bringing the total of those who recovered from the virus to 176 cases, pointing out that four deaths were recorded.

The Ministry called on all to strictly adhere to the procedures of sanitary isolation, and not to leave the houses except for necessity.

On the other hand, the Sultanate of Oman closed a textile market in the town of Jalan Bani Buali, which is frequented by tourists, due to fears of the spread of the Corona virus.

The Omani Ministry of Health said that the textile market in the town of Ja`lan Bani Buali in the South Eastern Province, which is famous for its watchtowers and its castle, will be isolated from four o'clock yesterday morning until further notice after monitoring 12 cases of infection in it.

In the Kuwaiti capital, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced yesterday that it had recorded 119 confirmed cases of the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recorded in the country to 1524 cases.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said in a press conference yesterday that 32 cases entered intensive care, 16 of which were critical. The spokesman pointed out that 1296 cases received medical and health care in a hospital of the Ministry of Health.

The Minister of Health, Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, announced yesterday morning the recovery of 19 cases, bringing the total of those who recovered from the virus to 225 cases.
