Corona’s pandemic in the United States can be likened to the Arab Spring a decade ago. The pandemic struck the health system in the largest country in the world, taking not only the lives of a large number of Americans, but also their economy and scientific and technical superiority, which demonstrated a deficit in the face of a hidden enemy .

The pandemic revealed the failure of the US administration to deal with it early, when it initially refused to acknowledge the disease and take measures that harm the economy in the crucial presidential election year. It preferred the economy to deal with the disease decisively, despite many warnings, including Bill Gates, one of the technology giants, who considered that America missed the opportunity to avoid this disaster.

About half a year ago we asked, "Will he become the new White House governor from Silicon Valley?" How can senior managers of technical companies be a force to be reckoned with in trying to gain the presidency in the United States?

With the emergence of what may be called metaphorically "the American Spring of Corona", some of these managers and heads of companies appeared strongly in providing assistance to their nation, whether with funds or efforts, while many of them disappeared and appeared weak and shy compared to the wealth and strength that most of them possess.

Although the crisis still exists, and there is time for senior technology managers to board the ship of heroes who have given their countries everything they can to confront the pandemic, we will review through the following list the most prominent positions of these managers in dealing with the Corona virus so far:

A generous donor ... Jack Dorsey Jack Dorsey
donated a billion dollars last week from his personal account in Square Company to a limited liability company created to finance the fight against the Corona virus, and this huge donation made Dorsey one of the most important men of Silicon Valley in the face of this crisis in the country so far.

The founder of Twitter did not give a precise figure of the amount he was planning to provide to combat Corona, and how it was spent, but said he would provide details of everything he had given in a spreadsheet.

Even if Dorsey gives only 10% of the billion dollars he pledged to fight Corona, Dorsey will become the world's largest donor in this regard.

Silicon Valley sage .. Bill Gates
, the founder of Microsoft Corporation, until now, appeared as the most prominent technical figure during the Corona pandemic crisis, after allocating one hundred million dollars. More importantly, Gates is willing to use his voice and famous personality to present an alternative to the White House.

"In a time of crisis, people like Bill have a vocal voice if our political leaders don't have that voice," said Jeff Ricks, who has run the Gates Foundation for a decade and continues to work closely with Microsoft.

By providing sober and non-political analysis, Gates was on a continuous media tour, offering advice and advice on social distance and procedures when it comes to treating the Corona virus and developing vaccines.

Gates proposed last week to build several factories to produce potential vaccines against the Corona virus, but the Gates Foundation said it was only "exploring" this idea.

"The foundation is exploring the use of its funding to move the process, while acknowledging that any large-scale projects will require multilateral or government funding," the foundation said in a statement.

While Gates has been honing his legacy as the country's leading philanthropist for a while, the Corona crisis is a reminder of how much respect Gates has received.

Trump's medic, Larry Ellison,
the founder of the Oracle company has strengthened an unusually close relationship with the administration of US President Donald Trump, including hosting a fundraising campaign for the president last February that raised $ 7 million for his campaign.

It was he who persuaded Trump of the "hydroxychloroquine" drug that sparked great controversy when Trump offered it to the American people, in an effort to persuade the Americans of the feasibility of using it to combat corona.

Ellison's relationship with Trump is evidence of how the political influence of a billionaire can go far beyond the influence of any charity. However, an Elison Charity official declined to comment on any work on corona-related research.

A month before the Corona crisis, the founder of the Oracle Corporation raised $ 7 million in donations for the US (French) presidential campaign

Naseer Al-Worker .. Mark Benioff Benioff
was among the most prominent leaders of Silicon Valley in trying to solve the crisis, whether from his own money or via his Salesforce platform.

Salesforce has helped organize personal protective equipment deliveries to the Gulf region, New York, India and France, and Benioff has distributed nearly fifty million pieces of equipment - such as face masks, dresses and protective shields - to date.

Landed NYC! Congrats to the salesforce PPE team for landing in NYC tonight this National Cargo 747 FULL of PPE incl goggles, face shields, & protective suits donated to New York State & @NYgovcuomo. Special thank you to partners @AlibabaGroup @alibaba_cloud & CEO Daniel Zhang. pic.twitter.com/h63r1qkLwJ

Benioff was also among the most prominent tech leaders when it came to using his reputation and position in communicating ideas to counter the pandemic; he called on other CEOs to sign a commitment not to undertake major layoffs for the next 90 days, and encouraged officials in other cities to enforce closings.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin, founders of Google,
criticized the founders of the search giant, Google, because of their half-hearted charity towards charity, which have two hundred billion dollars shared between them.

And with the presence of a charity in their name, it did not appear as required during the Corona pandemic, and even had no website.

Work before workers .. Jeff Bezos Bezos
was until recently avoiding giving great charity gifts, but during the past two years, as he became the richest person in the world, Bezos pledged to donate $ 100 million of his money to Feeding America, which is one One of the largest charities in the country, it operates two hundred food banks across the country.

However, despite his generosity, the Amazon founder and CEO found himself under criticism for the way his company treats its lower-level workers, a criticism that came from some of its employees.

Confusion and contradiction .. Elon Musk is
known for Elon Musk improvisation ideas and tweets, which can sometimes be likened to Trump's tweets, he tweeted at the beginning of the crisis likening Covid-19 disease to a cold.

There is significant conflation of diagnosis & contraction of “corona”. Actual virality is much lower than it would seem. I think this will turn out to be comparable to other forms of influenza. World War Z it is not.

- Elon Musk (@elonmusk) January 31, 2020

He then, without evidence, promoted Trump in other tweets.

Maybe worth considering chloroquine for C19 https://t.co/LEYob7Jofr

- Elon Musk (@elonmusk) March 16, 2020

When the crisis intensified, he purchased and promoted a number of medical devices that he said were respirators, after which they were found to be unsuitable for use in cases of the Coronavirus.
