Dubai Police has made new updates to exit permits during the 24-hour restriction period within the framework of the national sterilization program, which includes obtaining one permit every three days to purchase food and medicine, in contrast to the previous system that allowed the daily exit to buy these items, in order to enhance staying at home.

According to the new update that was applied in practice on the dedicated website (https://dxbpermit.gov.ae/ permits), community members can obtain a permit every five days to withdraw cash or use an ATM, without allowing To go out every day to do this.

According to the updated registration mechanism, the site user is initially asked to specify the reason for requesting the permit if it is work or personal, and when clicking on the last option he will be asked to select one of three reasons for either withdrawing from the ATM, or buying food and medical supplies, or going out for an emergency .

And when choosing to use the ATM box, he is required to fill in several data, including name, type of identity, number, nationality and home address, then he gets a subsequent signal in the next step that he will not get a similar permit before five days have passed until he withdraws enough of that money in that period Or he executes the transaction he needs without having to repeat it before that deadline.

The same procedure applies to those requesting exit permits to purchase food supplies, as they receive an alert in the next step that they will not obtain a similar permit before three days.

The Director of the Traffic Department in the Dubai Police, Brigadier Saif Muheir Al Mazrouei, told «Emirates Today» that all services, whether cooperative societies or supermarkets and small groceries, are available in every region in Dubai, and it is not logical for a person who lives in Al Nahda to obtain Example of an exit permit to buy food, and goes to buy it from Al Barsha, confirming that it will definitely be violated.

He explicitly called on community members to purchase enough food for a period so that they do not have to go out again because the goal of restriction measures is to keep people in their homes to ensure their safety, reduce the chances of infection spreading, and facilitate and accelerate sterilization operations undertaken by the relevant authorities in the emirate and the state.

It is noteworthy that the total violations committed by the Dubai Police since the implementation of the decision to restrict the movement of vehicles and pedestrians within the national sterilization program amounted to 2527 violations, by 2,076 warning violations, and eight penal violations for people who left the house without necessity or necessity or for reasons other than work or purchasing basic needs, according to The Dubai Government’s decision regarding restriction of movement, excluded groups and cases allowed to exit.
