The group’s comment
In a context related to efforts to curb the spread of the new Corona virus, the Islamic Endowments, Affairs and Holy Sites Council said today, Thursday, that it was decided to continue to suspend the group’s prayer in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan.

The council added in a statement that it "decided - while suffering from heartburn and pain - to extend its decision to suspend the attendance of worshipers from all doors of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, in line with legal fatwas and medical advice that warn of large gatherings in light of the spread of the epidemic."

He added that he knows "that taking this decision will be painful for all of us, as we used to hundreds of years ago to reconstruct the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month and to perform Tarawih, Friday and Jama’at, but to achieve a great purpose of the purposes of Islamic law, we preferred to pray in our homes to preserve the human soul." .
