The "Etamel Radar" website, which specializes in monitoring military aircraft, revealed a flight that it considered "unusual" by a US Air Force cargo plane from Andrews Air Force Base to Benghazi airport in eastern Libya.

The site stated that the American plane was refueled in British airspace, before it continued its journey and disappeared from the tracking sites as soon as it approached the Libyan airspace.

Less than two hours later, he said, the plane reappeared on the tracking sites, but on a reverse flight from Libya to Germany.

It is noteworthy that the retired Major General Khalifa Hifter - one of the two parties to the Libyan conflict - is receiving support from Russia, the UAE and Egypt, and that the United States has been in close talks with him and fears Russian influence in Libya.
