The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, under construction under fire, had an exceptional closing ceremony to honor those fighting against Corona19.

On the 15th of the local time, foreign news sources, including ABC News, reported that they had struck at 8 pm in line with the first cycle of the Notre Dame Cathedral fire.

The French authorities, which had a fire in the middle of Corona19, have canceled all scheduled events to prevent citizens from gathering. However, the cathedral said that it would continue to strike other bells in a sense of gratitude for those who defied and committed against Corona 19 at the forefront.

Notre Dame Cathedral has been struck only when the Pope visited or at a special event, such as the funeral of the French President. The ceremony was held for the second time since the fire, following the death of former French President Jacques Chirac in September last year.

French President Emmanuel Macron also thanked the firefighters who tried to extinguish the fire a year ago through their SNS and those who are trying to rebuild it. In addition, he emphasized, "Recovery is delayed for health reasons, but we will keep our promise to rebuild Notre Dame within 5 years."

Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the highest peaks of French Catholic heritage, collapsed in the 18th century with a spire restored in the 18th century and a wooden structure with a roof built in the 12th century.

The French government plans to complete the restoration of the Cathedral of Notre Dame before hosting the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024.
