The Ministry of Education - Higher Education Affairs has identified two options to evaluate students remotely, namely the evaluation of educational institutions for students in each subject in the traditional way, so that the student gets an evaluation of "A", "B", "C" or "D", in addition To give the student the right to choose success, and in the event he chooses to succeed, he will obtain the graduation requirements and pass the course, but it will not be counted in the GPA for him.

The Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills, Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, said that “the crisis of the spread of the Corona virus was a gift to establish the position of the profession of the teacher and the doctor, as they proved their importance and their vital vital role in serving the societies”, noting that this “will make the ministry rethink Its scholarship policies, and will work to urge students to join these two disciplines, both inside and outside the country, due to the severe shortage in them, the state is currently suffering ».

Al-Falasi expected that «the number of students who will join the fields of medicine and education (teaching) increase during the coming years, after the crisis proved that the teacher’s profession is one of the most difficult and most important professions required, especially after the UAE implemented a policy (distance education), and all parents knew Students ’affairs The size of the hardship and effort that the teachers are making, and the size of the responsibility placed on them», stressing that the Ministry will focus, during the coming period, on caring for these two specialties, and encouraging students to join them ».

He explained in statements to the program "Khalk At Home", which is broadcast by Dubai TV, that "the Emirates is one of the few countries that continued in the educational process for the current academic year, despite all the challenges and difficulties that faced the world in general, which made many countries, including major countries, The academic year stopped completely, but the UAE decided to continue studying with the "distance education" system, pointing out that the state "was armed with a strong technical infrastructure, which began almost 10 years ago, and was able to demonstrate its progress in this field, and that it places education at the top of its priorities , I kept the educational process at a distance and with a high degree Quality and workmanship.

Al-Falasi stressed that the ministry, in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and all the country's embassies in the countries where the UAE students are located, was keen to evacuate them according to the circumstances of each country separately, pointing out that «the evacuations included three main countries, namely: the United States The United States, Australia and the United Kingdom, where about 87% of UAE students study, in addition to some Asian countries such as China, where the evacuation coincided with the beginning of the disease outbreak there, and before it spread to the rest of the world ».

He explained that «the ministry took into account the conditions of students who preferred not to return, due to their obtaining strong fellowships that are difficult to abandon, and their number is 30 students, and they are currently practicing medicine with their colleagues in European hospitals, to obtain additional experiences in which they support their educational career, to contribute to strengthening the reputation of the supportive Emirates For different countries of the world in these exceptional circumstances, ”indicating that“ the Ministry is in contact with them, to check on them and support them. ”
