A year ago, part of the cultural and religious heritage of France went up in smoke. On April 15, 2019, a huge fire destroyed part of the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, leaving the whole world in shock, from Paris to Washington. The spire and part of the frame collapsed but the structure remained preserved, in particular the two towers and the facade, thanks to the efforts of 500 firefighters, who fought throughout the night. 20 Minutes invites you to relive this event in pictures.
