It is a credibility test for Emmanuel Macron. A member of the government explains that " all the ministries are brought to floor " on this challenge: that of the deconfinement in France, country almost frozen since March 17 and engaged in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The President of the Republic announced that the deconfinement will begin gradually from Monday, May 11.

Lots of issues to resolve by May 11

Who will ultimately present the plan? This mission could be attributed to the Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe, but it is not yet decided. For the moment, it is time to work to prepare a global plan in all areas of life under the leadership of Jean Castex, the “Monsieur Déconfinement” appointed by Edouard Philippe, who has been working since early April.
