The pollen researcher at the University of Gothenburg, Åslög Dahl, says that there are some symptoms of Covid-19 that are easier to distinguish from allergic reactions in pollen allergy than others.
- For example, fever, a special dry cough and muscle aches. If you have an allergy, it is very unusual for a fever, says Åslög Dahl.
She points out that it is good to start medication for pollen allergy already, in order to build up a resistance before higher levels reach Western Sweden.
