The woman is again arrested with restrictions and charges should be brought on April 28.

In poor mental condition

After her mother was released from custody on March 13 and then arrested on March 16 by the High Court, she has been in a poor mental state. Therefore, she has been admitted and received care at the forensic psychiatric regional clinic in Vadstena.

The mother has undergone a so-called section 7 examination where her mental state has been investigated by the Swedish Forensic Medicines Agency's psychiatrist in Stockholm. The study shows that she can be suspected of suffering from a serious mental disorder and a forensic psychiatric examination is recommended.
The psychiatrist notes that there are "grounds for taking a position on the issue of prison bans" and "on the issue of forensic psychiatric care".

The Prison and Probation Service will also investigate whether the mother has the prerequisites for so-called contract care - ie to undergo treatment instead of being sentenced to prison.

The mother has always denied crime.

Dad died in custody

It was on January 30 this year that a three-year-old girl was found dead after more than a day in an apartment in Norrköping. The girl's parents were arrested and then arrested on suspicion of grossly abusive death.

On Sunday, February 16, the father was found dead in the jail for unclear cause, a case that is under investigation by the Prison and Police.

The forensic examinations of the girl and the father are not yet complete.
