The Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the registration of 472 new cases of the emerging "Corona" virus, and the registration of six new deaths, and 44 cases of recovery, bringing the total of recovered cases to 805 cases.
Yesterday, the Sultanate of Oman announced the registration of 128 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate to 727, and the number of deaths four, while 124 cases of similar recovery.
Kuwait recorded 66 new cases of the new Corona virus within 24 hours, bringing the number of cases to 1300, and the Ministry of Health said that the total number of deaths reached two cases, and the total number of people recovered increased to 150 people.
In Morocco, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of two new deaths from the virus, bringing the total deaths of the virus in the country to 120 cases, in addition to recording 75 new confirmed cases of the virus, bringing the total infections to 1746 cases, and pointed to the increase in the total number of those who recovered to 196 cases.
Yesterday, the representative of the World Health Organization in Egypt, Dr. John Jabbour, revealed that 13% of Corona virus infections in Egypt are health workers.
Jabour said, in a press conference in Cairo, that the death rate due to the virus in Egypt is 7.6%, knowing that, according to sources of the Ministry of Health and Population, 30% of them died before arriving at isolation and treatment hospitals.
He added that this percentage is under study to determine the main causes, appreciating the Egyptian efforts made in confronting the Corona crisis.
He pointed out that the number of cases in Egypt reached 2065 cases diagnosed with the Corona virus, 159 deaths, and 447 cases that were cured and discharged from the hospital.
