The newly-increased local case is a man in his 20s who was a former resident of a previously confirmed patient imported from the United States. He has allergic symptoms and the relevant contacts are under continuous investigation.

Two new imported cases were a male in his 40s and a female in his 40s. Among them, the male patient went to work in the United States on February 20. On March 25, he developed symptoms such as cough and sore throat. He took medication on his own and did not seek medical treatment. When he returned to Taiwan on April 10, he was taken to the airport for examination and was diagnosed on the 12th.

The female patient was the wife of a previous diagnoser, and she went to the UK to visit relatives on January 13. After arriving in Taiwan on April 2, she experienced loss of taste and smell during her home quarantine. She went to the hospital on the 3rd and was diagnosed on the 12th.

The command center said that on the 11th, Taiwan added 1,102 cases of new coronary pneumonia-related notifications. Up to now, a total of 46,547 cases (including 41,681 cases have been excluded), of which 388 cases were diagnosed, with 333 cases imported overseas and 55 cases local. Six of the confirmed cases died, 109 were released from quarantine, and the remainder were kept in hospital for isolation.
