Two people were charged with intentional homicide and imprisoned following the discovery Thursday of a body at the foot of a bridge in Rouen, said the prosecutor's office on Saturday. Thursday, after the discovery of a body under the William the Conqueror bridge, four people had been placed in police custody.

Judicial information, "especially for failure to assist a person in danger and intentional homicide with acts of torture or barbarity" was opened on Saturday, said Pascal Prache, prosecutor of the Republic of Rouen.

“The two accused of intentional homicide were placed in pre-trial detention. The other two, accused of failing to assist a person in danger, are under judicial supervision, "added the prosecutor.
