Ding Shijun held a meeting on the same day and said that due to the recent non-compliance with the home segregation policy, some personnel will increase supervision, such as increasing the frequency of personnel visits and inspections. He said that after extensive consultation with experts, people who do not comply with the isolation policy are required to wear electronic bracelets.

Yin Taihao, the head of the epidemic prevention department of the South Korean Central Accident Handling Headquarters, said at the press conference that the mobile phone application system has been developed for home quarantine personnel, and the functions will be upgraded to better monitor the whereabouts. He said he would also increase penalties for those who violate the segregation policy.

From April 1, South Korea requires all immigrants to be quarantined for two weeks. Those who have a fixed residence in Korea can be quarantined at home, and the rest must be quarantined at designated locations.

Yin Taihao said that in the past week, there has been a significant downward trend in new cases in South Korea, but the incidence of clustered infections and the increase in imported cases have required the public to remain vigilant and continue to comply with epidemic prevention regulations such as maintaining social distance.
