The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Anwar Gargash, discussed with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Williams, the necessity of a ceasefire in Libya, and uniting efforts to confront the emerging crisis of the Corona virus.
Gargash said in a tweet via his account on the social networking site «Twitter» yesterday, that he affirmed “the UAE’s support for the Berlin path to a political solution and under the leadership of the United Nations”, pointing out to “the priority and necessity of strengthening and unifying efforts in dealing with the crisis of the Corona virus in the brotherly Arab country.”
Gargash assured the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya that the UAE supports the Berlin track of a political solution and under the leadership of the United Nations.
