China News Service, April 11 (Xinhua Times) reported that since the outbreak of the New Crown Outbreak, there has been a continuous shortage of medical protective equipment in Europe, and the number of diagnoses has continued to increase. The British Overseas Chinese Public Welfare Association (Chinese Public Crisis Mutual Aid Association) was established in March. At the beginning of its establishment, it began to donate and distribute masks, alcohol, drugs and other medical protective materials to different groups, and will continue to provide basic materials and other assistance to the needs group.

On April 8, local time, volunteers from the Overseas Chinese Public Welfare Association donated the first batch of masks to Kingston Hospital. In addition, the association is stepping up preparations for the next batch of mask donations. The masks were donated to The Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the largest emergency hospital for patients with new coronary pneumonia in northeast London.

The Overseas Chinese Public Welfare Association has helped hundreds of Chinese in the UK and distributed free protective materials such as masks to local community service personnel such as the British police and will continue to donate materials.
