In the Moria refugee camp in Lesbos (Greece), the coronavirus pandemic is exacerbating tensions. "They are crowded, there are more than 20,000 and it is difficult," laments Father Maurice Joyeux, a member of the Jesuit Refugee Service. "We have been calling for a long time for medical and humanitarian evacuation," he added to France 24's microphone. For Father Maurice Joyeux, the saturated Moria camp has become a big slum. "We must not leave the blind spots of hot-spots in our strategic thinking against the common enemy which is the coronavirus," he said.
