11 April 2020In Lombardy the retail trade of books and stationery items "is allowed only in hypermarkets and supermarkets". This is what the new ordinance signed by the President of the Region Attilio Fontana establishes, which confirms the restrictive measures to combat the spread of Covid-19 until May 3.

In the region, unlike what was decided yesterday at national level by the Government with the Dpcm, free and stationery stores are therefore closed.

The governor on Facebook: CIG advance for Lombards
"The Lombards cannot wait. We still don't know if and when the government's money will come for businesses and workers. The Lombardy region, on the other hand, with an agreement with the banking system and trade unions, guarantees the resources for the advance of the layoffs."

This was announced by the Lombard governor Attilio Fontana, in a video on Facebook. "Within a week - Fontana explained - up to 1 million Lombards will be able to ask the bank for the check, real money. If the state is not there, we guarantee it. In Lombardy, we talk with the facts".
