The Egyptian Doctors Syndicate issued a statement today, Saturday, in which it stated that the total number of new Egyptian Corona virus victims was 3 deaths and 43 infections.
The union said in a statement published on its official page on the social networking site "Facebook": "According to the data received from the affiliates of the branch, what has been counted so far from doctors' cases of Corona virus is the injury of forty-three doctors and the death of three doctors (two of them are community-based infection away from work ), And the inventory is still ongoing and likely to increase. "
The union stressed to all the competent authorities the necessity of following up the provision of all prevention requirements in all medical facilities and emphasizing the accuracy of their use, with the need to quickly make the necessary smears for those in contact with them for positive cases in application of scientific protocols.
The union stressed the masses of doctors by making sure to wear the necessary personal protections and not to start work without them to protect themselves and society, knowing that the Ministry of Health has announced the availability of all supplies in all medical facilities.
The Syndicate called on the Egyptian Cabinet to quickly add members of the injured and deceased medical team to Law No. 16 of 2018 honoring the martyrs and the injured.
