At 13:40 on March 28, a tailing pond leakage accident occurred in Yichun Luming Mining Co., Ltd. in Heilongjiang Province, and 2.53 million cubic meters of sewage accompanied by tailings leaked into the Jiji River.
After the accident, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment attached great importance and immediately initiated the emergency response procedure. The working group arrived at the scene of the accident on the evening of March 29 to assist and support the local authorities in carrying out emergency response to the accident.
The Yijimi River is a secondary tributary of the Songhua River. Located in the central part of Heilongjiang Province, it originated from Xiaoxing'anling Pot Helmet and injected into the Hulan River in the east of Qingfeng Village, Qing'an County.
Under the on-site guidance of the working group of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the local government implemented the "pollutant control project" on the Ijimi River and the "pollutant cleaning project" on the Hulan River. .

On the morning of April 9th, a meeting was held for the emergency response of the leak accident of the Luming mining tailings pond in Yichun, Heilongjiang. At the meeting, experts from the working group of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment analyzed the water quality monitoring report and the latest situation. On the basis of the obvious achievements of the Yjimi River control project, after four flocculation cleaning projects of Hulan River Gates 1, 2 and 3 and Suiwang Bridge, the length of the Fuqing River section of the Hulan River has reached 200 kilometers.
On the afternoon of April 9, the working group of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment came to the site of the Hulan River Water Cleaning and Purification Project in Lanxi Bridge again. At 18:00 on April 9th, the flocculation and drug administration work officially began, and the working group was stationed on the front line to provide technical guidance for the project at any time.
