The Central Election Commission said the voter turnout was 5.98% as of 1:00 pm on the 10th, the first day of the 21st general election.

This is the highest voter turnout in the nationwide elections with pre-voting.

According to the National Election Commission, 262,298 out of 4,399,4247 voters voted in the pre-voting that started at 6 am on the day.

Jeollanam-do had the highest pre-voting rate by province with 9.61%.

The lowest place was 4.81% in Daegu.

In 2014, the first national election with pre-voting, the turnout was 2.51% in the local elections.

Just looking at the same-time pre-voting rate, it was a new day high.

Pre-voting is held for two days from this day to the 11th.

A total of 3,508 polling stations were installed nationwide.

Voting time is from 6 AM to 6 PM and you must bring your ID.

Eight of the entire pre-voting stations were established in the center for voters who were quarantined in the life treatment center after confirmation of a new coronavirus infection (corona19).

It was installed in Seoul (1 place), Gyeonggi (1 place), Daegu (1 place), and Gyeongbuk (5 places) with a large number of confirmed persons and medical and support personnel.

All voters will disinfect their hands with the disinfectant provided and wear a disposable plastic glove to vote.
