Replenish the capital of French companies. The government is ready to mobilize up to 20 billion euros for companies put in difficulty by the crisis caused by the Covid-19 epidemic.

"We decided to put 20 billion euros in the trust account (of the state), precisely, to be able to support in capital all the companies which could need it, public or private", assured Friday 10 April the Minister of Economy and Finance, Bruno Le Maire, on the air in Europe 1.

Companies facing the impact of #COVID ăƒŒ 19 can obtain a bank loan thanks to the State guarantee. If you have difficulty obtaining it, contact the credit mediator in your department who will find a solution.

The "State financial participation" special purpose account is managed by the State Participations Agency (APE) and is dedicated to these capital operations of the State shareholder.

The appropriations allocated to it, generally several billion euros, do not correspond to specific expenditure for reasons of confidentiality linked to market operations. They give only a notion of the state projects during the current year.

The new endowment of this fund will be integrated into the new amending finance bill which will be presented next week in the Council of Ministers.

"Regarding Air France, we are ready, when the time comes, probably quickly, to intervene," said the minister again.

Air France-KLM is in great difficulty and "loses billions of euros per month", Bruno Le Maire had already indicated on Wednesday.
